I don’t know about all of you, but for me the past eighteen months have been CHALLENGING! I’ve really had to work hard to stay in a healthy mental and physical space. I’ve felt all the feels and it hasn’t been easy to keep my opinions and a lot of my anger to myself. The world has felt upside down. I think each of us has felt unsure about the future and about our own, and our loved ones’,  well-being.

So, I thought I’d start a list of things that have brought me happiness. I’ve listed some books, television shows, movies, podcasts and of course, my dog. Since I can’t share my dog with any of you, I’m happy to share some other fun recommendations. Please feel free to add to this list.

Here's a list of books, television shows, movies, and podcasts that have brought me happiness over these very challenging past 18 months. #books #tv #movies #podcasts #recommendations Click To Tweet

Awesome Books

Here are some books that I loved, but they are not necessarily happy. I’m a big fan of fantastic writing, so that’s what makes me happy when I read.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab (You should follow her on social media. She’s very entertaining.)

Mary Jane by Jessica Anya Blau

The Mother-in-Law by Sally Hepworth (A fun mystery.)

Things We Lost to the Water by Eric Nguyen (Admittedly a sad read, but so well written.)

White Ivy by Susie Yang (Super dark and super entertaining.)

I’d love to hear your recommendations!
